New Crow Art and Water Proofing Finished

Hi Everyone ;o) Hope you are enjoying your weekend ;o) It has cooled down here, but it's still hot! Our air conditioner broke this week, after just getting it connected up, 6 days ago! The guy was really nice, came that day and fixed it ;o) Some part went on it. Lucky it wasn't too expensive ;o)

I have some new Aceo's (2.5" x 3.5") to show you ;o)

"Miss Pink"
"Moon Calling"
"Graffiti"
"Autumn"
Another, "First Landing" ;o)
The water proofing is all done! Yepee! Now, to make everything look pretty again. That will take awhile, because the earth has to settle. The one part where the deck was, might take a year to settle, because the earth there was all clay! But, the other side, our walk way should be cemented in a couple of weeks ;o)

Here is a picture of the wall. This is showing the tar, the plastic membrane, and the tube is the new weeping tile. This is what captures the water and takes it away from the house!
Here is the right side of the house. I will show you the left side another day ;o)
Before
During
Now
The guys have been great! And, we are lucky to have got this done this year! They found a live wire on the other side of the house, where the mice had half eaten through and made a nice big nest beside it, to keep warm. They said, probably this winter, we would have had a fire! Scary stuff!

Big Hugs ;o)

  11. Moon Calling is me :)

So glad the work is finally finished! And that you got your air conditioner fixed. This is not a good time of the year to be without air! Our temperatures have been in the 90's and with all the rain we are having about every day the humidity is awful.

Those mice better move on out and leave our Crow friends alone! So glad the workers found that live wire!
And speaking of live wires, your new art is fab! I feel bad for that first landing little guy! Anything to do with the moon is always a hit with me too! You are a gifted painter, and it's fun to see what you come up with next!! Hugs!!!!

  32. I really enjoy your crow paintings. You show their energy. I understand where you are coming from with having a connection to crows. I seem to have a connection with red tailed hawks, except I am not a painter of them.

The wiring problem and the mouse nest was scary. Lucky that it was discovered during the work on your home.
