  2. love the photos of the busy little birds. All winter, I have put out seed for our "stay around" birds and they are all gone to other places for the spring now. Love watching birds. I hope you have a fabulous day as well. Oma Linda

  3. Is that flower seed?.. This reminds me .. I have a bird feeder I bought at lowes a few weeks ago my husband needs to put up... I love bird watching! I bought regular seed..I wonder now If I should of bought flower seed instead? Have a fabulous day!

    1. Hey Marissa ;o) Our birds are very picky, they only like the sunflower seed! Actually, it's called, "Black Oil Sunflower Seed" ;o)

  8. Chickadees are just the cutest! I see them once in awhile here, but mostly cardinals, robins & wrens!

  9. Isn't it amazing to hear the birds again in the morning and see them at the feeders! We've got cardinals and blue jays in the yard that are just spectacular!

  12. Awesome photos Stacy, the only thing we've seen is a huge woodpecker pecking at the top of our chimney. It was so funny. Couldn't get the camera fast enough.
    I will talk to you soon. Was sick again this last week end. Wish the parents would keep their sick children home!

  20. Awww! I love watching birds. My dad has a feeder right outside the window at his house. You can just sit and watcher birds come and go all day!

  24. Oh I just love the antics of the curious little chickadee, when I visit the forrest and stop to sit a bit they always pop down low on the branches to say hello!

  25. Nice pictures! Mine of the birds in the front didn't come out good at all. ;( But will keep trying! The pictures make me believe that soon the weather will in prove and spring flowers will be blooming!

  26. I just LOVE chickadees. :) I have to tell you a silly little tale. The other week, I spied a chickadee in a nearby tree who was making its call. I answered back. The chickadee actually called again and started looking my way. So I answered again. He actually flew in a bit closer - I think he was curious. I mimicked every call he sent out. This went on for about five minutes or so. It was magical. :)
