New Mer-Crow Art and A Surprise

Hi Everyone ;o) Sorry I haven't posted in awhile! It started around 6 days ago, my back is making me mad!!! First I was getting cramping and pain in my legs, then in my lower back, then on my left side, then on my ride side! LOL! Now, since I have been waddling like a duck, my muscles are soar! I hate this! I do think it had to do with the digging of the trench and lifting the mud! So, I have been taking pain killers, cracking my back, and massaging the area's with special cream. Everyday, I am a little better, but it's just taking a long time!
Ok, I don't mean to whine! Just thought I would let you know ;o)

I have been working on one painting through this. Something I just finished and I truly love how it turned out. Remember, the old ironing boards? Well, on this one, I painted one of my Mer-Crows. This painting is called, "Feel The Magic". She is a down to earth Mer-Crow ;o) Enjoy ;o) (Sorry the images are sideways. I hope you can see the pictures ok. Click on them, to make them bigger.)

Now, for the surprise ;o) I have been reading on many of your blogs, that you are cold and are blue from winter, so I thought I would do a little giveaway ;o) There will be one prize and this prize will have a baby crow aceo, a crow aceo and some pretty ribbon, because everyone needs pretty ribbon ;o) If you would like to be entered into the giveaway, please tell me you want to be ;o) If you don't, you won't be entered! The giveaway ends January 31st and I will announce the winner on February 1st ;o)

Big Hugs Everyone ;o) Be well ;o)

  4. Are you sure you didn't pull a muscle or pinch a nerve somewhere? Have you tried a nice hot soak in the tub for at least an hour? It might help. Maybe a massage could help too. Hope you start feeling better soon.

I like how your painting flows. It shows movement - her feathers swaying with the current.

  17. I make a concoction of coconut oil and wild oregano oil to message my back where it hurts the most. It works well on areas where there is muscle and tissue pain. You can get both of these oils at shops that carry vitamins and herbs. As for your giveaway who wouldn't want a chance at winning?? Hope you're feeling better soon. Hugs

  23. Ah so sorry about your back, one of the girls was out until this week because of her back! And yes the digging in mud did not help. I my self use pain killers but also a product I get from work called "ElekiBan" it is small magnet on a band-aid like patch about the size of a quarter. It can be found in some older drug stores. We carry it but in a special area for products not on regular order lists. I can send you some if you want. Plus add me to your give away!! Your work gets better and better!
