Update On Momma Crow and Other Things ;o)

Hi Everyone ;o)
I would first like to tell you what has happened so far with my mom ;o) The detective came over Monday and did a report. The really sweet part of this is, the detective who did the report, was the father of the boy, my mom thought she was giving the money too. He said we have a lot of information that people usually don't have and he was really pleased with this! Mom and I were so worried about everything the day before, that I was up all night with knots in my tummy and my mom didn't sleep either, but each day is getting better. Mom is still crying and I understand. I just don't like seeing her cry.
Tuesday, we had to file another report with a different policeman.
Now we wait ;o)

I know I have already wrote this, but mom and I can't thank you all enough for everything! We feel your strength!!! Big Hugs ;o))

I am so happy all of you enjoyed the surprise ;o) It was fun to do with Theresa. I was so nervous!

Please remember about my giveaway, "Sharing The Love" ;o) Right hand side of my blog. The winners are announced on February 29th ;o)

Below are some paintings I have completed. Sorry, the sun wasn't out, that is why they are dark. Some are aceo's and some are 5 x 7 paintings. Enjoy and Have a Fantastic Day Everyone ;o)

  1. I love the details you are adding to your paintings .... Your Native American Crow Series is marvelous!

Baby Crow in a tea cup is adorable!

Black Crow on red ... well that is outstanding!

Glad to hear a second detective took a report too. The first detective, being the father of the culprit, might tend to be a bit biased in his son's favor.

I pray your stress levels are easing; otherwise he is still victimizing both your Mom and yourself and exercising control over your daily well being. Much love to the both of you.

Your interview with Theresa was wonderful! Your answers truly reflected who you are. A person in love with life and all the little gifts that surround our daily
    lives.

Take care and know you are loved,
    Karen Anne

  11. Well, it is good that things have been put into action for your Mom. Talking to police can be intimidating that is for sure. Now the waiting will be hard. I hope your Mom will start cheering up soon. Stacy, the first crow photo is amazing, I love the vividness of the colors. And as always your native crows are full of music and movement. Love em!! Take care now.

  13. Your paintings are evolving all the time. It is a joy to see you expand as an artist.
Momma Crow and you are never out of my thoughts. Ms. GK helped light candles yesterday morning and she asked if she could call the names of the loved ones we are lifting up and I said sure, thinking I was gonna have to help out but nope, she knew all of you and our intentions for each of you. Little witchy wonders....now shared with you. Oma Linda

  14. Oh Stacy, Your work is amazing. I love your new work. Love all the detail and texture. Beautiful cultural references.

I just know in my heart that everything will be fine. Just give it time. Waiting is the hardest thing. This person will be caught and taken care of. Justice prevails.
    Hugs all around.

  15. Stacy I'm sorry that your mom and you were upset all night worrying about the detective. Please tell your mom, that it's only money. I know money is important, but in the big scheme of things, you are both safe, and the scammer is moved onto the next victim. It happens all the time, and he will get what he deserves in life, so not to worry about that part, lol!
hugs to you both though, I hate to hear about anyone going through so much stress as a result of a lowlife piece of crap who doesn't have any decency whatsoever. (sorry, can't help myself, this stuff really infuriates me!).

on to better things: your art is getting cuter and cuter! your native series especially is a big hit! keep at it girl!
    hugs
    betty

  16. Love the new crows, I still don't know how you manage to get so much done. Time must be on your side. :D Glad to hear you've made it past the first stages with filing reports. That must be a relief to have that done. Again, I'm sorry that you're having to go through that. I hope you will get a chance to relax and enjoy this weekend and do something joyful.

  20. Hi, Stacy. I know how it is to feel so protective of a mother. My mother is 87 and I worry about the "scammers" out there. She wouldn't think that people would go to such lengths to be so devious. All it takes is a few steps to get the money from someone. I do hope you and your mother are able to get through this with stronger bonds.

I adore the detail work you have done on the "native american" series of Crows. You must have been seeing colors even with your eyes closed after working on these pieces!

I saw your interview with Teresa. Lovely. I too love Crows. Really! In August and March they must migrate over because the trees around are alive with their chatter. We have the "southern" species. The caw is softer, perhaps, yes, you could say the crows have a southern drawl down this way. Not like the northern or mountain crows that are strong and have a caw that echos across the sky. Anyway, I send much magic crow love back to you.

    Peace, Brianne

  21. I hope that your mom stops crying soon, Stacy. Tell her it will be alright. We are human - and mistakes are made. Everything will be right in the end. :) Your new paintings are so wonderful. I absolutely ADORE the first one - with the red background. Looks like I see a heart there, too. While I adore your baby crows, I am most enchanted with your "adult" crows, too!!! :)

  22. Glad you made your reports. Hope this will all be a memory soon. Hope your sleeping better.

Big Hugs Theresa! Mom has stopped crying and I am happy for that! I know you love my adult crows ;o) You are dramatic!!! The painting you won from me, was very out there! I loved that painting! So happy it went to a good home ;o)

Pam, thanks so much my friend ;o) Mom and I are sleeping better everyday. We try not to think about it too much! I can just see if we have to go to Montreal, we will be fainting! LOL! Happy you like the new art ;o)

Maggie, thanks for coming by and thanks for loving my crows ;o) Great to hear from you!

  26. Crows dressed in native american! Love it! That would go over really well here in Wichita, Kansas. We have a giant metal sculpture called the Keeper of the Plains that is placed on a man made island between our two rivers the Little and Big Arkansas rivers.
