How My Aceo's Are Created ;o)

Hi Everyone ;o) Last week, I was making an aceo, to replace one, that got lost in the mail!! Errrrrrrrrr!!! I sent a picture to Deb at Geckostone, showing the aceo in the inbetween stages. Deb said, you put a lot into your aceo's. So, I thought, why not show everyone the process I go through. I usually have 3 paintings going on at once, because I am waiting for the paint to dry inbetween. I am only showing one aceo. As you will see, for my baby crows, it's 4 layers of different colors. Enjoy everyone ;o) Talk soon ;o) This is "For You" ;o)

  2. The personality comes right through as you go through the steps. Reminded me of the way cartoons used to be drawn and enhanced. TFS!

  4. Oh my goodness, how sad that it got lost!! Did you wait enough? One time it took over a month for my parcel to reach it's destination!
    Love to see the steps!

  5. I hate it when the USPS eats my packages or worse yet...sends them on a wild goose chase. Sorry, I know it is frustrating.
On the positive side...unless a person does aceo's themselves they don't know how much goes into the piece but you have had so many sales and so many folks love what you do....it is great that you posted what it is that you go through....even if the expo was abbreviated. Super expo. Oma Linda

  14. Eck. I hate when they get lost in the mail.

People don't realize the time that goes into painting! I usually do 3 or more at a time also for the same reason.

  17. Stacy this is soooooo cool seeing the process! And the best part is that my lil campfire babies arrived after all FINALLY! But better late than never and the cool part is whoever had them was honest enough to return it to the right PO.Thats the only drag about having a PO is stuff does get mixed up in the wrong boxes. I guess it one of those umteen million lessons in patience the universe sends us, grrrrr!!!!!"For You" is adorable!!! Deb
