The Treasures I Found ;o) Part One ;o)

Hi Everyone ;o) I'm home ;o) Mom and I had such an amazing time away! Truly, it was magical! I feel I can do anything! We drove to such a remote place in Ontario. Through forests, up and down large hills. When you saw a gas station, you stopped! LOL! It was fantastic! And, for the 3 days we were away, everyone around us had such a beautiful smile! We have never experienced this before! Such good energy everywhere! I would like to share some of my jewels ;o) I truly love my stones. Everyone so different! Everyone has a story to tell. Everyone made so beautifully from mother earth. They are all so powerful. The cast iron pedestal dish you see, I bought that as well ;o)

The next one, I thought looked like a dragon, and that's why I bought it! As soon as I saw it on this lady's table, I said to her, that's my dragon. And, she said, you know, you are right. It looks like he is coming out of the water or earth. I really believe you don't pick the stones, the stones pick you! Do you see the dragon?

I have a few more things to show you, but I will wait for the next post ;o) Have a great day everyone ;o)

  1. So happy you and your mom had fun!

I love the stones. The lines on black one, at the top of the very first picture, look like a heart--sooo pretty. I like the two pink ones and the purple and the aquamarine/brown one... alright, so I love them all!

  5. Sounds like a wonderful trip and you have found some beautiful stones!!!! I really liked that first close up one of the blue stone, gorgeous!! It's funny I was looking at them thinking oohhh that would make a wonderful pendant ;0) My mum was born in Hamilton, Ontario but left when she was 4! Moved to Wales then emigrated to Australia with me when she was about 40!! I've always wanted to go to Ontario and see where my mum was born, apparently my gran worked in a Ketchup factory when she was there in the early 1950s!!! :0)

  6. Ohh these are, well enchanting Stacy, I do think each one may have it's own story to whisper in your ear :) I must admit I love stones & rocks & as a child would collect them, of course a major part of my collection was bit's of bitumen from the side of the road, not exactly impressive LOL. I have pictures of Memphis as a toddler (she still picks up stones & has a tiny collection of rocks) but in Scotland, we would be amazed, she would 'hug' the standing stones we came across in fields, literally hug them, it was really interesting, she would do it with some trees too, but those standing stones, then one day we were having a picnic in a field & she gathered up rocks & stones & placed them around where we were sitting, like a miniature version of stongehedge (although we didn't go there) really like she could sense something, I forgot about that until now LOL, have to see if I can find the pics :) Big hugs to you & your mom, so happy you had a wonderful break :)

  7. Sounds like you had an energizing trip! (I can hardly wait to see what art comes out of it!) The stones you bought are just amazing and look perfect in the bowl! I agree that with so much to choose from, it can be overwhelming and the stones have to pick you rather than vice versa!

I have always collected a stone from every special place we have visited!

  8. Stacy, glad you and your mom had a great time. The stones are gorgeous they are all wonderful. I love gemstones and stones of all kinds. When I was a kid in Utah, one of my favorite past times was breaking small rocks with a larger one to see what they looked like inside. Some were very sparkly and beautiful.
