"The SuperMoon"

Hi Everyone ;o) Did you all go look at the moon last night? It was the closest it has been to the earth, in 18 years! It was big! I took some pictures ;o) I'm no expert photographer, but I still wanted to show them ;o) It's weird, in the third picture, the moon looks like it is splitting in two. The last two pictures, I don't know what happened? I promise, I did nothing funky! I have a basic camera ;o) I thought it was really magical! What do you think? Have a great day everyone!!!

  6. Oh wow I saw the moon too and it did look like it was splitting in half or like two moons on top of each other. You are in Canada and I am in TN. so it must have looked like that to many people!!

  11. those pics are kind of eerie, lol! It sounds like you weren't the only one that thought the moon looked like it was splitting in two, I may have to google it, and see if I can come up with something. Wonder if another planet was in front?
    very strange indeed :-)

  15. Pure magic it is!!! I´ve never seen the moon so big and all that light. It was like a night in the middle of summer. Great capture you did - and the two last ones often becomes like this if you move the camera just a little bit (you often don´t feel it) taking the photo - really a gret thing Stacy!!!
