Wood Painting ;o)

Hey Everyone ;o) I didn't feel like painting any aceo's this week, so I started painting on an old piece of wood. I love painting on wood! This one is finished! It takes alot of time, (many layers of paint and sanding), but I think it's worth it! This one is called, "Life Is A Journey", "Take The Trip". Enjoy! I really liked the way it turned out!

  10. They are totally awesome! I think you could paint on a brown bag & it would still be beautiful! These are such interesting and unique shapes, too!

  11. Wow these are super cool! I love painting on wood too, it's my preferred substrate, but unfortunately can be so heavy, it would be hard to ship.

I think I'm not in the mood for ACEOs too, lol!

  15. I like the triangle one...what a good way to reuse wood. I volunteered once on a Habitat for Humanity house and I was surprised at all the scrap wood that had been donated...I'm sure a lot of it would go to waste otherwise. It's such a tactile idea too.

  16. Stacy, smiled, chuckled, wonderful as always!!! I love the organic quality of the wood, working with it is something I love to do too, and good for the environment, let's face it Belgium Linen is over-rated LOL!!
